Enjoying With Relatives After Semester Exams

After my fifth semester exams, I was having a break for ten days, during this time I planned to go to my Uncles' home in Dallas. There one of my aunts was also staying. I had many cousins over there, I thought to spend my time with all of them and enjoy my trip to the fullest. During my semester only I planned my trip and informed them about my visit, they were also very happy to meet me after a long time.

Online ticket booking has made our lives easy with all the details at one place. I searched for multiple Mumbai to Dallas flights on various websites, there were many options and the seats were also available almost in all the flight services. This time I thought to go by Delta Airlines as it was offering an excess baggage allowance of 10 kgs. I little hesitated as I didn't travel from this flight earlier, but I made my mind and booked an economy class seat.

Other than the Check-in problem, had a Fine Experience with Delta Airlines

On the day of my travel, I reached the airport on time and went for my check-in. During my check-in, they said that I have extra 8 kgs with me so I need to pay extra baggage charge. I told them that I have got extra 10 kg baggage allowance free while booking my ticket and that’s the reason I am carrying more. The check-in counter guy was not aware of this offer and asked me to pay for it. I asked him to check regarding this offer with some senior person, he refused to do so. I was feeling irritated as because of this only I booked this flight and I will not get the discount as well. I thought to check my ticket and thank god it was written on the ticket about the free baggage allowance. Finally, he agreed on this and my check-in was done without paying an extra charge. I was shocked as for how come the employees don't know about the offers and discounts.

The boarding was on time, the cabin crew was welcoming the guest with a nice smile, seeing their smiling face I was a bit relaxed and felt better. The seats were spacious as compared to other economy class flights and had enough leg space. The were pillows and blankets as well on the seat. The flight takes off was on time and after we were in the air all settled the attendants offered water and some refreshment. After some time they distributed the dinner, the quality of which was good.I was very hungry, so I had it nicely after dinner had coffee as well.The hospitality of the cabin crew was overwhelming.

The flight landed on time at the Dallas airport and after reaching the arrival terminal I was able to claim my luggage within few minutes. In excitement, I ran out of arrival terminal and found my cousins waiting for me.
